Dana White loves Australia.

He loved the country before Sunday, and he probably loves it even more after.

The UFC president announced proudly to reporters after the conclusion of UFC 234 that the event was a sell out; 15,238 fans at Rod Laver Arena bringing in $3,484,155 at the gate.

Rob Whittaker’s withdrawal saw the organisation offer refunds to fans who wanted one after Israel Adesanya and Anderson Silva were elevated to the main event.

When asked whether the UFC had lost any money with fans taking up the chance to get their money back, White put it simply: “Were you at the fight tonight, did you see an open seat?”
