Tiger Woods could never make a push for the top of the leader board in the final round of The Memorial Golf Tournament on Sunday. Woods, who was seeking his sixth Memorial win, shot an even par 72 to close out his weekend in Dublin, Ohio, at 9 under. Woods entered the final round tied for seventh and with an opportunity to finish in the top five. But instead he’ll finish outside of the top 20 because the final nine holes did him in for the second straight day. He bogeyed three of his final nine holes a day after bogeying two of the final three holes in the third round. Woods will next play in the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills in New York in two weeks.
